| It looks like an SMG conversion. The joing between breech and receiver is squared, not rounded. Sometimes the only way to tell them apart. Not that it matters, though I did prefer the trigger on the conversions. A bit more crisp.

| If it's an SMG 60 Conversion, maybe the F/A is intact. Tippmann used to make guns, so my best guess would be that they did a two-sear semi conversion (a second sear to slow the bolt down, thus making the gun semi). Just my two cents. |

| Nothing so fancy. WHen Tippmann converted the SMG to 68-Special, they swapped the F/A sear, for a slip-sear. Your thinking of the late F/A which used a hydraulic sear system to slow down the hammer. On the SMG-60, the hammer ran at full speed, though it was much heavier, with a longer slide.
