Any news on Redux?

Hey guys, I've been wanting a Redux for years. A student loan SNAFU prevented me from buying one of the first 20, then I dropped out of paintball for a while for more or less the same reason. I sent mOngo an email asking about it a couple days ago, but I don't expect him to reply to every Redux inquiry as he's probably quite busy. So in the meantime I thought I'd see what you guys know.

I don't have the energy for gun whoring anymore, and I plan on keeping only my sentimental guns (a bloodsucker - got me into pump play, SC sniper II - ghetto but fun/good loaner, and a leaky PG I got for free before I could even drive) and the Redux I will hopefully acquire.

So, for those in the know (Looking your way, DSA) is there another run of these guns in the works? I'd all but kill for one. A duckslide (while nice - I owned one) will not do - same with boxguns. I'll always have the cash at the ready to buy one...I just never see them for sale.

Yep..... Very soon. I heard from the Quackmasters own beak the magic number is 8!

I'm pretty sure that of that number( at least 2 )are already spoken for.

...and how would one go about speaking for one of these guys? IIRC Steve doesn't take a deposit... I just don't want to get passed up, since I know these aren't going to be made forever.

Only Steve (Mongo) can speak for Steve but my 2-cents are:

Steve doesn't sell products that don't exist, unlike some so-called paintball vendors
When he has product on hand, he'll announce it.
Be the first in line. Spend every waking and sleeping hour on this forum.
Have this, the Redux section on your web page watch list, as well as the Paintball News section.
Use MCBspy.
When Mongo posts, immediately PayPal whatever he's asking for, assuming you haven't paid already.

I'll add this: there are about 50 of them on the planet. I have #043 and I assume there are a few un-marked or with special serial numbers.

Post in the "WTB" section and offer $1,500 for a Redux. See if you get any bites. (I won't be one of them, for the record)

Well, I'll be posted if anything shows up in this forum. I've got cash on hand ready to go if/when he takes orders..I'm not just "thinking about adding a duck to my collection." Just don't want to be passed up!

that is an option, but is not standard, it is an upgrade.
