What I've been working on...

Not done yet. I need to get a black bucket changer and mill the threaded part to fit. As it is, it interferes with the slide. But I'm liking where this is going already...

Also being made for me:

In my best Darth Vader....."Impressive!"

It would look fantastic if you could get a Gargoyle feed gate and matching bucket changer.

I'm not going to take the credit for things I didn't do. I bought the BBA (A LineSI valve) from BigOldSkool, who was able to mill it down to fit the Dux. He did the work, I just made the measurements.

Anyway, I'm going to have it cleaned up and anodized (hopefully Claudio can do that), along with the bucket changer, of which I will have to file down some flats on. I'm having Butch make the holster, which will turn out a little different, but I really wanted a western style holster, and he's been working with me on that. Then, I'm going to have Robertsr make me a set of custom sea snail grips, with buffalo nickels inlayed into them. Hopefully, this thing winds up beautiful(er)!

A red trigger would absolutely set that gun off!

I heard a rumor after market red triggers may be available in the near future.

I'd thought about milling a LineSI valve but wasn't sure how much material would be left around the ASA.

Do you have closeups in better light of the milling on the valve? I have one of those valves around; it sure looks purdy on that 'dux!

Here ya go, man.

The dimensions I had it milled to:

I got those dimensions with a tape measure, so they are not that accurate. However, it seemed to work nicely. BOS didn't like the way the milling would look with just half milled out (like on my example pic on the bottom right), so he just milled up the entire side. I agree with his decision.

Oh, by the way, DO NOT COUNTERBORE THE CAP HEAD SCREW HOLE ANY DEEPER. There is an air line just below that.

Great info! Thanks for that.

Got a photo from the rear too? I'm curious how much material is left around the ASA threads.
