In short.

He did ask and I said yes. Do people like myself get a warm and fuzzy if people copy our things to the numbers? No. But VHS killed Beta because Beta would not share on any level.

As far as being told no as was posted. There is a big difference between asking for my CAD/CAM files, verses creating your own when your a student. Now get back to work!

Sorry if I mislead everybody, I got it wrong

I think it was good of you to say that I should make my own, I won't learn anything if I take the easy path.

And sorry to you Siress, if I got people angry at you! I've used your phantom CADs for various projects and they are great!

I have already started ! I do not have a proper CAM program so the g-code is written by hand. I used a the CCI changer Siress modeled, but the frame is done by me.It maybe looks kind of weird, but it's drilled from the bottom so it will look good in person. I plan on doing the fillets by hand with a file, because my schools mill is only 3 axis, and I dont want "turn around the piece".

Here's how it looks ATM:

Will probably be able to mill on the 27th if I'm lucky

good stuff, I'm glad its cool with you Rodney. I also agree that so far as this corner of the industry goes, sharing is caring, and for the best... and a big thanks to Siress for the task of re creating all the part models for reference use.

Thanks for settling that, Rodney.

Broder, no worries, mate. Looks like a good start you have going on your project.
