Gargoyle 23 on Constant Air

Boredom led to messing with parts I had lying around / acquired / bought. Works. No chrony, I'll do that the next time at the field. As usual. And yeah it's looking slow, the lapco internals are definitely not for constant air. Thought I'd share and see what consensus thinks.

I ran mine on CA when I had it. Chrono'd at 280 without touching anything. Stock CCI internals though.

Well that's never happened before... the wife just walked in on me w/ my pants around my ankles... Fap Fap Fap Fap!

You couldn't make that gun much more beautiful man (IMO)... I'd love to here what sort of efficiency you get out of the 13ci tank

ADDITION 11/08/12: Wanted to add this pic here; I forgot I'd even posted in this thread previously... this is how I will play w/ her on Saturday if the weather permits! Played pure stock class (as God intended) this past sunday but figure I'll try it on CA just for sh!ts and giggles

I can get you some real numbers after my next field visit, I'll have an appropriate hammer by then. Gotta ask splattttt again, or just take it out. I don't think the power tube is your standard #4. A #6 maybe or a #4 @ #6 bored spec. With lapco internals. On the field I want it to run with a red mainspring, stock cci hammer, open face tpc (already in).

Unless of course what's in there performs well on that setup. I'm loving the agd bike grip. Feels good, mmmm...

Interesting. I run my Grey Ghost (original) on compressed air, and never have any problems. I wonder if there is something else in the mix going on.

Took it apart yesterday. It's a lapco #6 powertube. Got it to "visually" gain some fps doing normal velocity adjustment. Still need a chrony to be sure. I may not have to switch anything but a spring or nothing at all. Looking forward to rockin 23 at the field again.

Used this last weekend at jungle island. Chrony'd at 285 perfectly. Sorry broch no shot count, but it was so perfect. It'll get better when I put a barrel with a proper control bore on.

nice to see #23 continuing on its historical path.
Did you ever see that video I made when I had her regged down to 225psi?
You could probably run it safely at 400psi with those internals.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.
