I even bring granola bars out on the field with me for mid game snacks. I was just curious about the back up gun. I think I will leave it at camp. My Nasty Typhoon has rarely given me trouble, and if it does, I can always switch it over to pump with the turn of a screw on the field. This bypasses the 4 way which is the most common problem with Typhoon. I plan to bring 4-5 guns with me anyways, so I will have options at camp if I need them. Thanks again for the reply. I look forward to serving the Black Cat 899th Tank division this summer!!!!
Glad to have you mc3kuby! We'll help you design a good load out when you get to the field. See you in June.

101st Pathfinders

Pathfinders

People who come to D-Day come looking to have a good
time, but they rarely come expecting to become much
more than just another player on a side that gets to face
off against a group of players on the opposite side.

The first thing you find when you join the 101st Pathfinders
is that it's a TEAM, one which is expected to perform the
hardest missions, one that's tasked with covering more
ground and taking on greater odds than everyone else.

After your first day in the 101st PF you'll begin to feel a
pride and sense of accomplishment that sets you apart,
just as Pathfinders are from other Airborne troops. You
are the vanguard, the point of the spear that marks the
way for all the rest to follow.

By the time the big day rolls around you'll have learned
how to move as one, how to cover ground that others
tend to avoid and how to accomplish missions others
fail to.

If you're looking for more than a chance to play paintball
this summer consider joining the 101st Pathfinders..

Valken Corps has just released their spring 2013 D-Day
Newsletter and I'd like to share it with the rest of you
as it has some useful information about what to bring,
a copy of the event's week long schedule, plus several
other articles on sniping with FS rounds and the need
for communications.

Soldiers of paint

What follows is only a small preview of what you'll be
taking part in, but ONLY if you sign up for this year's
2013 Oklahoma D-Day Event. 5 years in the making
and close to a quarter million dollars later, it's time
to show the world what paintball can be...

Check out this preview taken from the soon to be
released feature length film, "Soldiers Of Paint,"
which is due to hit the street on May 21st. Click
here to pre-order your copy, or download a
copy.

Soldiers of Paint, documentary feature film about the Oklahoma D-Day, the ultimate paintball game.

"Soldiers of Paint" is just two weeks away! On May
21st you will be able to get the DVD by clicking the
"buy" button above, or download it from iTunes,
Amazon, Hulu, or Netflix.

Soldiers Of Paint isn't like your typical paintball
game and even events like ION and Living Legends
pale when compared to D-Day. This is truly your
one chance this year to come and make history.

Are you up to the task, or not? If so get signed
up for the side/unit of your choice and see why
we say 'this isn't just a game, it's a life changing
experience.'

Sincerely,

FOUR WEEKS TO GO!

If you are able to make it to Wyandotte for the biggest scenario game in paintball then let me be the first to say WELCOME. You are guranteed to have the absolute time of your life. However, you probably have a lot of questions – those questions probably begin with 'What side and unit should I play for?'. Let me suggest...err...encourage you to play on the German side with the 914th Grenadier Infantrie.

Here's why:
-With the 914th, you'll be playing heavily out-manned (plenty of targets!) and with your back against the wall.

-You'll be responsible for containing the enemy horde in what we affectionately call the 'Valley of Death.' And boy does it earn its name!

-You'll be fighting in the shade provided by the tree canopy and the paint flying over head!

-The 914th is involved in some of the most brutal battles at Oklahoma D-Day.

-The 914th is led by experienced leadership who know and understand how to play the Valley.

-The 914th is a close-knit group that looks out for each other. Why do players keep coming back to the 914th year after year? It's the brotherhood of paint forged at the unit camp site and tested on the field of paint.

-The 914th will welcome you with open arms and make you an integral part of a unit that is critical to the German war plan.

There are 101+ reasons to join the 914th GIR. If you have any questions at all then please feel free to contact me, and I will answer any questions you may have.

See you in the middle!

82nd AT Gunner

When you think about facing down a German tank, don't
think it's as simple as bouncing a Nerf off of it. A t D-Day
you have a single chance to hit a small target that's
taped to it.

Here's a member of the 82nd Airborne taking out one of
the German tanks at the recent Red Dawn Redemption,
which serves as a sort of warm up for D-Day.

Want to get in on the action, then sign up for D-Day.
