Per Ed Covey, Game Manager

If your buddies bring (5) new players as a group
the 6th (1) player is free. You HAVE to register by
calling in that group. It actually is on the D-Day
forum someplace and it has been in play for years.
Some units have used it well and I wish more would.

Global

So in effect if you are new or recruiting lump them
together when you can and get an extra...again, 5
new players get 1 new player free for a total of 6.

Finally, the cut off before they raise the entry fee is
April 30th. On May 1st the rate goes up to $100.00.

Time is flying by and D-Day is almost here. Preorders for CEF Player Packs, t-shirts, uniform articles and patches will close out on May 5.

Rent/buy sea containers closes out on May 10. The CEF offers space in our “bunkhouses” for $25 a night. That gets you a 24” X 72” bunk, lights and AC, in a weatherproof steel container. You provide the bedding. Special prices for teams that want whole containers.

Prereg for the Full Auto Shoot will close out on May 10. We sponsor a military style full auto shoot, complete with things that blow up. Registration is $85 per person.

Bottled water preorder and meal catering should be wrapped up by this weekend. Look for an announcement.

RAP4 will be sponsoring a MagFed minigame on Thursday, June 13. Details here. Monday Night Paintball 04.15.2013 - YouTube There will be a limited number of 468s to borrow.

The Bunker will not be raising their price for registration again, until the event starts. REGISTER NOW!!! The gate price for Oklahoma D-DAY 2013 is $115.00.

Visit the Commonwealth forum web site to see what we have at www.cefpaintball.com , in the PX section. Once you decide what you want, send in your order by email to CEFSales@hotmail.com.

Cheers

Red dawn

Here's a small taste of what it's like when you're
trying to hold the 2 story church in Colleville when
the enemy attacks from all sides. This was filmed
a year ago, at the smaller RED DAWN game. At
D-Day the numbers are even greater as are the
odds of coming out alive.

Remember, you've got till May 1st before they
raise the entry fee for this event to $100.00. That
gets you nearly a FULL week of play, access to the
camp area and all the HPA you'll need. You'll also
find loads of vendors there looking to make some
killer deals, including;
RAP4
Tippmann
Tiberius Arms
Ninja Air
Kingman
Valken
T.C. Paintball
Enola Gaye
Engler Paintball Guns
DYE
Ultimate Paintball

June is almost here! Have you signed up yet? The Commonwealth is looking for troops to take Sword Beach, Caen and Pegasus Bridge. These will be some of the most intense battles on the morning of the big game. Want to play in a paintball tank? The 13th/18th Royal Hussars need troops to man our four tanks and three planes. Shoot up the Germans in the relative safety of a tank!

Come and join our international team of scenario players from Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, United States, and Wales. What better way to spend a summer paintball vacation, than with new international friends? If you go to a large event in North America, Europe or Australia, chances are that you will find your CEF brothers and sisters there, as well. So, sign up today!

We offer group meals, shelter in steel shipping containers with air conditioning and bunks, a military style full auto shoot midweek and team training with the other CEF and Allied units. The full auto shoot is open to all attendees of OK D-Day.

2nd gun

I'd stick with what works and if for some unforseen
reason a problem does crop up, you'll probably find a
fellow member of your unit who has a spare. There
are also always some great deals to be had from the
vendors as well.

Sincerely,

True Blue

Here's another example of how many of the
players on both sides who take part in The
Annual Oklahoma D-Day Event feel about
this event.

A second gun adds weight. I recommend running with just the gear you need. Match paint and air, wear a camelback, mask and boots and leave anything that adds extra weight back in camp. In an emergency you could always go back to camp and get your back up marker.

Thanks for the info. I am no beginner to big games, as I pretty much only play scenarios now. I have a nice vest that is all MOLLE, with a camelbak pouch on the back side and tons of pockets and pouches for misc. goodies and pods. I even bring granola bars out on the field with me for mid game snacks. I was just curious about the back up gun. I think I will leave it at camp. My Nasty Typhoon has rarely given me trouble, and if it does, I can always switch it over to pump with the turn of a screw on the field. This bypasses the 4 way which is the most common problem with Typhoon. I plan to bring 4-5 guns with me anyways, so I will have options at camp if I need them. Thanks again for the reply. I look forward to serving the Black Cat 899th Tank division this summer!!!!
