Thats how my old buzzard was sprung too. It's the stiff valve spring that does it. if it works, keep it in but just remember it's in there if you can't make velocity for some reason.

It'd be $795 new I believe. After playing around with mine I'd say Mongo is undercharging, his work is just as good, if not better than, anything Carter or Lapco or CCI has done.
