New vs old style valves

Say one was making a semi-sheridan. or a PA sheridan.

What style valve would have a better ROF and consistency? Simplicity?

Well you'd want it to be Constant Air right? You're not running something like that off of 12 grams. So you'd want a CA valve. So it HAS to be old style valve right? Unless you have some sort of side-tapped, or vert air set up already done for it.

If you are scratch building a cart valve is easier to use. As far as consistency goes it really doesn't matter.
