Question More PGP ?s

I just whipped myself a another PGP... So i thought of more questions

Are the grip frame drillable? I like to add asa, or stock
How I can convert it to constant air beast?
Can I chop off top tube that holds paintballs?
How i can attach feedneck to it? Do i have to solder or something?

1. Yes they are drillable but I would not recommend mounting a tank to them as they are crappy pot metal that is no very strong.

2. Yes you can convert it to constant air. You would need an adapter like this one:
CA Drop In Adaptor, Pgp, Pgp2 [SHER056] - $30.00 : Palmers Pursuit Shop, Where Custom Still Means Something

3. Yes you can chop off the feed tube if you want, but it would probably be easier and cleaner to melt the solder from the tube to take it off.

4. Soldering on a feedneck would be the most secure option. The barrel tube is really too thin for setscrews or anything so I think your only option is to solder a feedneck on.

You don't want to drill and tap the grip frame. Palmers makes UMB plates....they go under the acutal grips but allow you to mount an ASA underneath the grip frame.

You need a CA adapter like sniper told you about.....but you can get them cheaper on here than from Palmers. Rumor has it there's a guy with extensive facial hair that might be able to hook you up if you're seriously looking.

Do not cut the feed tube off. It'll be nasty looking. I got a PGP that someone hacked that way. They did a good job, but it's still nasty. You can heat the top tube evenly (move the torch back and forth) and it'll just drop off.

You'll definitely need to solder. Again not too much heat in one place or you'll detach your tubes form each other and then have some serious issues. Practice first. There are some old hands here on MCB that might be able to help you better with this or even do it if you really want it to be sleek and clean.

possibly, but they are still notthat strong. an option would be to get a cocker to sheridan frame adapter which would allow you to use almost any cocker frame (provided the sear sits high enough)

essentially either keep your eyes open (they pop up in the misc items BST every so often), throw out a WTB ad, or contact one of the airsmiths to make one for you. they are relatively simple ans shouldn't be too expensive to make.

relatively recently one of the airsmiths named Noxx released a bunch into the wild that needed some work to be functional (basically drilling or widening the nutsert hole to fit), if you can find one of those and feel comfortable with a dremmel you can save some bucks.

If you want to go CA and chop off the top tube to put on a DF, just look for a Piranha Short Barrel. It will be the same thing with a slightly longer barrel.

I agree with getting a PPS UMB instead of drilling and tapping.

If you do drill and tap it through bolt it for best results.

Apparently CCM T2 frames work with minimal modifications.
Couple different sources/methods of going constant air. Palmers makes adapters that drop in and put an air fitting where the 12g cap goes. The other constant air mod involves tapping the side of a 12g and drilling a hole through your bottom tube.
As mentioned...you would definitely want the top tube soldered off as opposed to simply cutting. Can't remember who...but there were a few companies that made DF necks that could be soldered on.

With all this...why not just get a PMI-1 or something?
