pgp2 custom wood grips

So I got tired of the little grips on the pgp2, and it just so happens Kruger(a mem here who makes wood grips) lives in my town. I went to him for some help...and he said you can use anything in the workshop. I picked out some wood got some pointers from him on how to start and what to do and I think the grips I got done came out pretty good and I love them. They are made from bocote wood, and they are a little higher and come up on the bottom tube a little with a 45deg. on the backside.

new wood grips

First time I have tried something like this and so far I love them, they are not perfect but work for me.

Nice job and like the pick of the wood. Those sheridan frames are kind of a bitch to fit aren't they? Yeah, Krueger does nice stuff. You do have to be a little careful with some of the exotic woods as some of them are actually harmful to work with.
