Throw a 12g or a co2 tank on it and see what it's shooting at. I suspect it's in a reasonable range.

I would agree. While HPA is more consistent with temperature changes, it does not have the energy that CO2 does. You should see a nice boost by simply using CO2.

It takes 2 shots just to get the ball out of the barrel. The distance after the second shot is 12ft.

That my man is more than the difference between HPA and CO2

As It sounds like you have had the gun mostly apart, does the long thin spring between the hammer and rear adapter (main spring) look to have been cut or shortened? That happened many times when a gun was shooting to hard. Also is it possible that the gun sat for years cocked and weakened the spring? With the gun shooting that low you may want to purchase a new spring from Palmers first.

Palmers can mod your BBA for a velocity adjustment screw. They might have some in stock as well.

It looks like the spring was snipped. I,m testing a shim setup tomorrow to see how it works.

Walz, wouldn't mind sending the marker out for help and possible valve mod depending on what it calls for.

At least i got life into the brass just got to get it breathing again.
