| MCB Member  Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: coarsegold,ca   | WALZ's Freaking Sheridan build for (B) a member (Plus a How To DIY)
Build I started for a member.. Wanted a bunch of different barrel lengths and also wanted the ability to change bore sizes. Wants a lot more but here is what I have started. The two barrels pictures are a 8" and a 12". I will be making a 9", 10", 11", 13" and a 14" for a total of 7 different barrel lengths. Accepts freack inserts so bore sizing will be a piece of cake... Pictures of what it looks like so far...

You've answered the only issue I have with Sheridans/Custom Brass -> fixed bore... Your work never ceases to amaze me man!

What is the od of the barrel tube you're using vis the stock Sheridan tubing? I know stock Sheridan tubing is too thin for boreing right?

follow up to wrongblokes question....with the thicker tubing....how much added weight are we talking about. You're a freak of nature dude. Love your work as always. I seriously need to get you to work on something....

Your idea for the barrels is one of the coolest things i have seen in a long time, that will be very clean and effective. Do you have thicker extruded barrel tubing or do you turn and bore the entire piece?

I will show how this was done as soon I get some free time. Most anyone will be able to do there own with no special tools required. soon....
