WALZ Walnut M-700 F- length stock (for bolt action rifle)(Completed 3-6-13)

Making a stock for someone here and it's supposed to look
like a m-700 stock.
Well- as you can see its not exactly a m-700 but it sorta
resembles one...
It will have a air thru via dummy c02 and quick release at grip butt.

I have one coat of boiled linseed oil/turpintine on her so far and she's starting to look good...

Those ebony caps look awesome on there, really set it off. The butt looks like a butt pad really, for that 68cal recoil.

My wife says that this stock is to nice for a paintball marker.
I just gave her the "deer in the headlight look" and she said it again..

Wow- you have a good eye there Brassballs, it is a Brett G. I had the priviledge of being able to add a new taller (1903 remeniscent) front site. It is a very well built marker
and smooth as butter to pump...

BretG is a brass wizard, he builds some great looking and working stuff. I would really like to own something he built someday. I had the privilege of hanging out with him and getting some advise on builds a few years ago at Pump Pandemonium. They shoot nice too, he shot me out with one of his creations a couple years later at Pandemonium. (Not saying your not also a brass wizard Walz, you do great work as well)

Completed and ready to send to its Master.

After adding twisted brass wire into the stock at butt and fore end (epoxy'ed in) I made a brass trigger guard with a long tongue.
Finish on stock is 12 coats boiled linseed oil/turpintine and 4 coats of
Howards feed-n-wax.
Real nice grain movement on this stock.
This thing almost looks like a real firearm...
