that could very well be the case of the tool not fitting but i'd still take a caliper and measure the tool. just because PPS made it doesn't mean that it's exempted from error. nobody is perfect.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

i didn't say it to get a laugh. as bad as you will hate to admit it, PPS can and does make mistakes. it's human nature.

does PPS even make the tool themselves or do they have an outside company do it for them?

It's a really nice tutorial.
What I do instead of using a dowel though, is use the knob to screw in the spent 12g rather than a mallet.

My valvetool is not threaded for the valve/cupseal-pin. Could i just whack it out with the empty twelvie and dowel? or do i really need to remoe the cupseal and valvespring first?
