Correct trigger group?

I found an old Blue Streak I'm thinking about picking up if the parts are correct for an eventual Hurricane conversion. I realize the pics suck, and they are all I can get, but hopefully they will get the point across...

I'm not sure if it will work, but it is not the preferred group. It has the hold down safety instead of the rocker safety. You have to push down the tab that pops up from the slot on the 2nd pic, every time you shoot. Also Palmers puts the velocity adjuster there so I don't know if that style of safety would be a problem.

Is this the Blue Streak you told me about at the shop? The trigger group might not work as planned without modification, but the stock is well worth it depending on the price.

No, this is another one. I might pick this up anyways, the guy only wants $50 for it; depending on what I pay for a P68sc I'm looking at. Craig said he can use this trigger group for a Hurc, but that I'd probably want to disable the safety once I got it back from Palmer's. He has to leave the safety functional for liability reasons.

I'm still waiting to hear about those other three Blue Streaks that were turned in to the Police Dept. though...

that group works, but the push down part needs to be pinned/disabled/removed.
I also 'found' that particular rifle, but I'll be nice. The 'other' one there, I want, if we can form a gentlemen's agreement in the junta of wood!

the one I intend to slay is a fully rebuilt one!

I suck, I know. I gave Drum a mint target model with lyman peep a couple years ago, then he scored the 'F" model already, so besides a high grade A model, meh!

If I score the one I'm looking for, I'll sell you the guts super cheap!

well, i'd be looking for nonfunctional guts...to be gutted...and remade into something else, i just like the '5mm bluestreak' stamp on 68 cal. ...

pardon the old pic, it was my first build...now it's the second down from the top on the left in my avatar...

Go for it, and take your pick. I'm going a different route for this build...
