Crossman 1399 Stock on a P68SC

I read that Crossman 1399 Stocks will fit on a sheridan "with modification".

I just got my hands on one, and would like to install it on my P68SC, does anyone have experience fitting this particular stock on a sheridan gripframe?

What exactly do I have to do to make it fit?

I don't think the Dels will ship well...Coffee syrup can be arraigned easily enough...

As for the Newport Creamery secret...well...I wish I knew...hehe...

Name your brand, and size, and I will gladly ship off some coffee syrup...

It's a bit of work but it's not too complicated. First, you need to cut out the little nubbies on the inside bottom of the stock's grip. You might also have to cut out a few nubby bits near the top of the stock's grip (can't remember, it's been a while).

Then, because the mounting hole is lower on the stock than it is on the grip, you need to take a piece of wood, squeeze it into the bottom hole of the grip and then put the stock over the grip. Ideally, the wood should be slightly wider than the grip frame because the stock is wider.

Mark the spot and drill a smaller pilot hole OR use some small wood screws, one on each side and you should be good. An alternative is to use a longer bolt and thread it right through.

Born and raised in RI.

I hate the dry mix crap dels sells, just isn't the real thing and it never mixes right.

The last Autocrat I got tasted strange, yet it wouldn't be that bad.
