i think ive finally figured out my own personal "perfect setup". i swapped out my holster for a 50-round pod holder. i enter a game with 8 mags on the rig, one in the pistol. i play rec ball 90% of the time, so in between games i can quickly reload any empty mags, and for game two im once again at full capacity. I find this much easier than carrying the equivalent amount of 7-round tubes. in lieu of the holster, i just carry a barrel bag and throw the TPX in under the top lip of the rig while i walk to and from the field.

anyway, here's pretty much the final version of my rig

I should have the MILSIG FazMags for the Tiberius and Tpx in stock in November.

I like idea but I think those would be better served by putting the narrow side as the mount so that you can fit more into a given area (as most of the popular soft pouches are made now).

Just saw this and came to the same conclusion. Can't fit 30+ mags the way they're made.

So they are two pieces with two rubber bands holding them together? Huh

Looks like they have holes so you can stack them, maybe you could stack them wide side to wide, then mount them to a belt sideways(narrowside against belt).

Edit: mixed up my words

...Or carry less mags...
Either way, they look pretty useful!

The faz mags do look good. I might have to try mounting a couple.

How good is the retention? Could you mount them upside down and still run?

I still havn't heard a price on them

Retention is excellent, right-side up. They can be mounted upside down, but I don't think a mag will stay. On facebook one of the Milsig owners I believe did not recommend running them upside down. I ran around a bit with them upside down and the mags do slip out a bit. The inner face of the back half has a small length of thick rubber that helps keep the mag in. The inner face of the front half is just smooth plastic. You can stack them back to front, but not on the thin sides. In the end, the Faz Mag works as designed and advertised.

These were CDN$17.95 per at milsig.ca, not sure what US pricing will be.
