Fire Hose holster

Anyone ever used fire hose as a holster material? If so post up your results.

We got a catalog with someone using it for wallets and other things. If it has rubber lining I wouldn't use it.. too grabby.

I have had alot of the Duluthtrading firehose clothes too. It's awesome and alot more abrasion resistant than reg canvas.

I have a guy who is local who gets the old hose that fails the pressure tests, etc gets them donated to make dog toys with. Once theirs cleaned of course.

As for a holsters, that's some pretty thick material depending on the hose. I assume you'd be using 4 inch line for it?

I was thinking 3". My plan is to take the inter-jacket out and use it for a holster for my DSP.
