Bizarre delay in helmetcam sound

I took this test vid with a new DBCamera at the game last weekend.

It's all synched sound to vid, except for shooting my pistol. I had shot the one dry and was using the other mostly but there's a delay with both between when I shoot and when the sound of me firing appears!

Weird!

That's odd... I wonder if the camera has trouble processing the sound of the shot due to it being louder than anything else. Just a thought.

It's pretty horrible inside the housing anyway. I will vid with it outside the housing and see if it still does it.
60FPS is my goal. I'll find a camera that does it if it kills me. To me that's way more important than definition. You can't see the paint in the air at 30fps, you can't always even keep up with my movements.

The view is what I wanted though, nice and light too. Maybe a seperate mic for sound. Hmmm...

I have a contour roam 2. The thing that irks me is that you can't see the long ball hits, or even most of the mid range hits for that matter, unless the guy you hit reacts. My placement right now is on the right side of my mask and I've missed both of my best shots while playing with it due to that. I'm going to try for the top of the head next.

Sound like the same issue as mine. Here is a vid I made with my camera in a scuba diving housing.

That buzzing is worse in other videos I made. As soon as its out of the housing I had much clearer sound.e a mode

Does your camera have a mode where it can be activated by sound? I found the mic to be way too sensitive hence the buzzing.
