it is a low run of 12"(over all) ul tips with freak threads that he did... but he only did them in raw... i used it for 2 months then decided to wait till i get it annoed

Huh...

I just received my barrels back from Ryan who was boring them for freaks. I guess I never realized that the insert extends ~1/4in from the threads of the barrel.

Yeah but what I'm saying is... If it's freak threads that makes it a freak tip. No UL threads = not a UL tip. Right?

yep, installed it tonight (didn't get to put any rounds through it) and fit like a glove. It looks like the barrel had to have the front lip removed up to the threads and the insert makes up for that lip. I didn't even think of that.

Ohhhhh. Okay. I was wondering if the 1/4" would keep that from letting the barrel sit back far enough, but if the lip is removed, I guess that makes up for it.

Do the Ty brass inserts work?
