Schedule for blanding events?

Does anyone have a schedule for events at blanding? Oh and yay I got fridays and saturdays off this bid so I can actually play a bit! On a side note if anyone knows of any weekend events taking place over the next 6months in the florida area let me know.

Thanks

Any MCBs coming for this one? Mout sites are awesome, need to do one if you never have. This is a charity event and we will have lots of stuff for auction, sale, etc.
Look me up if you make it, hard to miss.

No more Blanding events for me. The facility is excellent. The events and gameplay are not.

I know what you mean. It's unfortunate because it is such an amazing facility. I'll keep going back in the hopes that someone finds the magic formula. Unfortunately I don't think anyone ever will because IMO that would probably be less than 200 per side, both bases in the city. The logistics of holding an event there pretty much requires 800+ players to break even.

I have not played there yet so I guess I will see what you mean. Played at Anniston, it was great! It is just so much fun to play in a mout facility, clear the buildings and get to see what up close action is all about or snipe from the roofs when you get tired. Bringing the pistols, pump, semi, electro, and sniper for this one, need more hands for my arms I guess.lol

LCP is the sponsor and the paint they furnished at their last event I attended was fair. Tha paint at Anniston was superb!!! Grey fill is harder to spot but it held up fantastic. Do not know what the paint type is but can find out if thta is all that turned some away.
Mout games are different, but the level of play is out of this world. I cannot speak for all that will attend, but I will stand by my fellow junkies on the sportsmanship and plain out honorable play that we are known for. We call ourselves out, assist fellow teammates on checks, and even our enemy if needed. If people have had a bad experience before in this type of game, I am truly sorry. I encourage all to retry one and those that have not had a MOUT experience to come out to Ft. Blanding Fla. in Sept. and have the most fun you will ever have playing paintball.

The paint is not the best but it's usually not as bad as people make it out to be and everyone's using the same stuff so it's a level playing field. It's usually thin and gray because it needs to wash clean with minimal effort from the structures.

What really kills the fun is the blatant cheating. A game at a field like Blanding draws out a lot of weekend rambos who absolutely refuse to admit to themselves that they are not paintball gods. It's hard to decisively tell if you hit someone when shooting through windows because of the shadows. When you throw those factors in with thin easy to wipe paint that doesn't mark well and it's ridiculously easy for people to justify to themselves that they can wipe a hit and get away with it. There usually seem to be lots of refs and they usually seem to try hard but they can't have line-of-sight on every player in an urban environment. Too much cover, too many angles. At best it's 95% honor system and the refs are there mainly for safety.

Grivooga I am with you on this one. However the paint this past June event was much better than the December event. As for cheating well put it this way. I saw a guy with a team jersey and his name in big letters go to bunker a player on the opposing side. I was watching from the sidelines at this point. Anyway the player going in for the bunker got bean pretty good off the head. He didn't slow down, didn't call himself out, didn't find cover and see if it broke. Instead he continued to bunker the player who shot him then call himself out. Oh and he stil had a good 10 to 15ft to run before he got to the other player. After he eliminated him he turned to his buddy and gave him a hi 5 as thought to show how great he was then walked off the field. All I can say is his team must be so proud.
