APX Gear hits the southeast. Sponsorships, Gear and Paint Deals

So my team is looking to get some custom pants made. I am searching around and I finally find a company that can suit our needs. Upon talking to some of their customers one of which is a fellow MCB'er, extensive convo with the owner and doing the proper research, we decide to settle down with these guys based out of California, APX Gear. Come to find out, they dont just do custom gear, they do paint. After recieving a demo package complete with all three lines of their paint and a demo pair of their pants, I am sold. I am actually so impressed, that I go as far as to pick up a sales rep position with these guys. So lets cut to the chase.

They have three lines of paint.

Fyre: this is thin shelled paint with super thick, bright neon fill aimed at tourney play.

Agro: this is what they call their mid grade rec line, but I swear it performs better than any RPS Premium I have ever shot.

Beast: this is their high end paint. its aimed at woodsball with a dense shell that shoots through cover and breaks solid on impact. this I would have to compare to marbalizer or better.

shipping and packaging. expedient and super well packaged. the bags are tightly packed inside their case to avoid breakage. the bags themselves are vacumed and they contain a silica gel pack to guarantee fresh paint devoid of the damages of moisture. Very impressed. I have two markers who are both demanding of their paint. I ran the three lines through an x7 on full auto, all three no breakage, driving nails. Same with my Geo uncapped and shooting laser beams. No breaks, driving nails. ALL THREE LINES. Super impressed.

So I have been contacting local proshops, guaging interest in these new lines of paint, from this new company (actually trying to find some for purchase locally). It was non existent. So I pick up a rep job and want to bring these lines to our region. My main goal is to deliver this to players and teams affordably. So after talking to the owner, we have worked out a deal here.

3 cases of agro delivered to your door with an APX tshirt of your size preference for 104.95. This aimed at individual players. You will not find rps premium for this price anywhere locally and this stuff is same quality if not better. Thats less than 35 a case for some great paint.

Then theres the high end stuff, Beast. We have a package aimed at teams. 10 cases of Beast delivered to your door for 445.00. Thats 44.50 a case for the same quality if not better than marbalizer. PLUS SWAG. Thats a tshirt per case and all kinds of freebie stuff on top of that.

I am not making any real money here, except for selling skids to proshops. I am getting paint perks and some cash to ball on. My goal is to bring these lines to our region because of the quality of the paint and the affordability. Times are hard and good paint is still as expensive as ever.

Youll be able to find these lines of paint in your proshop soon. But I can guarantee you they wont be offering this promo deal that I have offered. If any of you guys want on board just pm me.

They are also offering sponsorship opportunities to interested teams and I am authorized to handle that straight through the owner. I can also handle large orders such as your local proshop.

APX paint (striped) versus the standard kee industry paint:

in the pics, this is the beast paint. its the high end. but all three lines have that same super thick neon fill. they have different color fills, but all the fills are that consistency as far as density and coloring. the solid paint is diablo heat. tournament grade paint thats suppossed to be good and more expensive.

now the pants rock. this what i told my own team upon getting a demo pair to test:

use this pic as a reference, but this isnt the only pattern in camo they have and they do have solid black as well.

here we go:

1. the cinch straps. this is actual commercial grade seatbelt material. ive tried to tear it and it aint budging. its like the seatbelt in your ride. and they actually cinch up.

2. the pants employ something new. look at the ribbed material coming off the crotch and into the upper thigh. this material expands and contracts as your body moves. so kneeling, running, going prone and all the biomechanical high stress movements you put pants through in that area, force the material to react to your movements. like i said, it reacts to you, not limits your movement or comfort.

3. same material right above the knee hidden by a concealment flap. you know how sometimes going crouch or tightening up in a bunker working that bunker off your knees causes your pants to pull down off your waist or ride up, not anymore with these.

4. same material in about a 4 inch wide strip right across the back waist and hidden by a concealment flap. so when bending over, going up or down, the pants flex with your body to handle the stress while keeping them perfectly in place where it counts, the waist.

5. the knees. kevlar freakin knee pads with 3/4 of an inch of padding. tough stuff.

6. keeping cool. this is awesome. from the back of the knee joint down to the 3 inch cuff on the ankle, its all mesh. talk about breathability. also has a 2 inch mesh strip that runs up the inside of the leg into the taint area. no more "sweat" pants. imagine shooting off a bunker and burning up and then you feel a breeze blow across the field sweeping into your pants from the backs of your legs and onto your balls. (mental image oh my god it burns it burns me brains!) but highly effective as far as comfort.

7. the side panels. leaves plenty of room for custom team artwork.

What kind of mods do you have on your X7? I want to push this through my A5. I have a fully up'd cyclone and will be getting a new front bolt shortly. Other than that I don't have any plans to do anything else to the internals. Maybe a Zerokick hammer down the road. I know Tippys are hard on paint and using an Apex will only make it harder. Maybe I'll mix the Fyre and the beast to cut down trees and players a like. Beware of the Fyrebeast.

joke

ohhhh fyrebeast!

my x7 is stock. no upgrades. worst thing you can do to a tippmann is mod it. maybe squishy paddles thats it. all the other stuff, imho, is a marketing scam. all i have ever had to do to my x7 is put a drop or 2 of oil in the asa and play. never have even taken it apart.

i shoot beast and agro out of my geo uncapped with an apex barrel bro. no probs.

now i am not sayin you will never ever break a ball. but i am saying this stuff is kick *** and its better than any kee paint ive shot.
