using an old body on a newer STP

I have a newer vert feet STP (just pryor to the spyder threaded, I still have sterling threads) and would really prefer right feed over vert. Were there any changes made that would keep me from just buying an old right feed and swapping the internals? I would like to keep the velocity adjustmen and side tapped valve that I have, I just want to go back to something RH feed.

hi. I have a RF sterling body with sterling thread, silver. Pm me if you are interesting, we can trade our bodies.

I'll probably end up just picking up a whole older sterling. If I go through with it I will be shipping the body off to have it milled, detent added and some new annodizing.

I have one, a whole. silver with eurogrip and asa frame or CF frame with stock barrel. I'm ready to trade my sterling to your body.

I also much prefer the r/f (the primary reason I don't want to give it up and buy an STP)... as has been pointed out though, the only significant downsides to switching to a r/f bronze (or like) body would be the lack of a detent and the non-externally-adjustable hammer setup. If you swap out the internals the latter won't be an issue, I imagine, but you'll still have to mod it to take a detent (this is what I'm in the process of doing).

how/whom do you plan to use to install the detent?

I don't know yet, I've just been tossing the idea about this weekend. If I go through with it, I'll have some extra milling done as well to make it a bit more unique. It's been over a month since I've even played so the whole thing is really on hold as I am pushing money towards other hobbies and really need to take a vacation as well.

Fouge, to be honest I'm a bit skiddish about overseas shipping.

no, it's not expensive, it costs 20$ to France. I search the body only. You keep your internals.

New Bodies.

We have purple, green, blue and chrome right-hand feed bodies threaded for the Sterling barrel system here at Arrow Precision. We ship using FedEx International Priority. These bodies are brand new, although I may keep the chrome body for myself to make an STP-hybrid to go with my chrome Sovereign project
