New t8 owner!

First off, HAI!!!!!

I picked up a T8 locally off of craigslist for.....$50!!!!

Came with a holster and 1 mag. Basically the guy didn't know how to work it, got a TON of paint gummed up in it and couldnt get it to work. So he wanted to offload it for whatever he could get. It's almost brand new.

Seriously I aired it up and the bolt was so gummed up it wouldnt cycle fully.

Broke it down and gave it a good deep cleaning, put it back together and BAM! it works.

So I'm now gonna try some pistol play. I plan on sending this barrel off to stancy for freak boring

First off, welcome!

Second off, go jump in a hole for getting it such a bargain Gotta love people who don't know how to use allen wrenches. To have any fun with it as a primary or even as a secondary I'd suggest you get at least one more mag, more like three if you wanna run dedicated pistol. Freak boring is a great idea if you don't wanna buy a whole new barrel. other than that, have fun sneaking! Sneaking/ ambush and fast moving with a Pistol Primary are my favorite ways to play.

Thanks! I've already put up a WTB for mags. I plan on getting 3-4 more mags and a 3 mag leg holster.

As a stock class player, I've already got the sneaking down

Mags are definitely the biggest performance increase. I have eight now and i have never had to reload them during a game, or even over the course of a few games

(i bought a case of paint for the day, maybe went through 1/3 of a bag )

Surprisingly if you get good holders for them you can still run fast easily. The T8 is a work of art. As far as freak bores go, i don't think it really needs em. I longballed a little today, it shot straighter then the axe's and bob long's there!

Good find! I suggest looking in here:
The Official Sidearm "Share Your Rig" Thread
For rig suggestions. I have found the less I have on my legs, the better. I run a belt rig with 2 extended mags+a regular 8 round mag and a drop leg holster and love it.

Just eat alot and dont exercise, you will surely become a bigger marker collector...

That's awesome, congrats on the find. I would love to find a deal like that as well, I only shot the t8 today for the first time and was shocked at how much I liked it.

I shot some field paint while testing it in the backyard, it was all over the place. My phantom was the same way until I had stanchy bore the barrel. Straight as a laser now.

I don't mind stuff on my legs that much, I just have to keep it on the outside of my legs so it doesn't get trashed too much when I crawl. I've been paging through that thread since I joined this site. Expect to see some cool loadouts with my KP2 soon

Thanks!

My next project is to find some new sights. What's the closest fitting ones for a t8? I don't mind cutting them down to fit properly.

Everyone says cz-75 sights are close, but if you call tiberius they will hook you up with a legit set! Also rockstar tactical sells ALL the tibetius parts you could ever want. I have a toolbox with everything that i could possibly lose. Came in useful today when my bolt spring fell out and got lost while i was squeegieng the barrel. Just ran back to the staging area and slipped the replacement in.

Id be willing to buy this thing off of you as well?

thats a pretty great deal...I got my first tiberius a couple years back, 150 for a T8 players pack (two mags and a holster for the gun and 1 mag) and a Lapco/UMS barrel for it. All because the guy forgot to push the bolt forward when he reassembled it

I have some mags if you are looking to buy. PM me
