Direct mount frame mod

I am throwing out the feelers on this one to see what kind of interest their is in this service. What I would be doing is adding a dovetail mount to the bottom of the frame so you can direct mount an ASA rather then buying a rail. Here is my "prototype" on one of my newest markers

This was done on a ccm frame with a CP asa.

I am thinking about 50 for this service due to setup time and run variables. What I would require from whoever wants the service done is the frame and the asa you want to have mounted. The reason I would want the asa and frame is so that I can more closely fit the ASA to the frame.

So what do you think anyone interested?

I might have to talk to you about it in the future. I'm surprised more frames don't already come dovetailed.

how are you locking the ASA so that it doesn't just slip off the frame?
