CCM Fan
Iao - 2006?

Got this in my email from the IAO people. I never go.. never have the money.

Scenario Game at Three Rivers Paintball Festival

provides "Walk in Movie Theatre"!

The Three Rivers Paintball Festival is just around the corner,

and the fun is brewing! In addition to the industry party

Friday Night at the Sheraton, there will also be a "Friday

Night at the Movies" for players at the camping area,

beginning at 9:30 P.M. Bring your favorite beverage, your

popcorn, and a lawn chair and enjoy the camaraderie of

others as you watch the just released "Blackballed: The

Bobby Dukes Story", compliments of the Three Rivers

Paintball Festival. It's a fun, funny paintball movie you

won't want to miss.

And, there's more fun in store for Saturday night! In

addition to the complimentary Player BBQ at 6:00 P.M.,

BlackCat is hosting a "Puppet Contest". You read it right

folks. . . a puppet contest. In the spirit of "Team America",

BlackCat invites all participants to bring his/her original

design puppet to the BBQ. The winner of the contest will

walk away with a Tippmann Custom '98 and, of course,

provide some laughs at the party. If you've seen the movie

"Team America," then you already know that there are

plenty of villainous world leaders and celebrities for

costuming this year. Prizes will also go to best costume for

the scenario game!

We're looking forward to seeing all the great individual

players and teams at the Three Rivers Paintball Festival.

It's more than just an event; it's an experience. Primitive

Camping is available with an insertion point just a stone's

throw away.

Get registered at www.PaintballFestival.com 724-775-8299 or

www.blackcatpaintball.com, (740-435-0230).

The Sheraton still has a few rooms left - Call Mary Ellen at

724-776-6900 by June 19th to get the discounted rate. This

will once again be the spot for the Industry Cocktail Party

Friday night June 28th Sponsored by National Paintball Supply

and featuring the Shari Richards Band and Diablo Cigar Bar!

It's reservations only from 7 to 9pm and then open to the

public!

I am trying to arrange my schedule to get there, if I do go you will probably see my head sticking out the turret of a green tank most of the weekend.

Stuck my head out the top of the turret for some the scenario game and did not get it shot off which was nice. I did manage to kill masses of players coming out from the Blue HQ on instant rejuve...now what was fun was seeing 10+ players walk past the tank convinced it was dead. Silly monkeys never walk past anything in paintball and assume it is not going to shoot at you, almost assume it WILL shoot at you. I was polite in my shooting but when people who dont accept hits and keep walking expect some extras in the air in the next 4-5 seconds.
