I just got a hold of a brand new, in box, VM-68 Mag. I love this old gal to death, but I cant seem to find a hopper that looks quite right with it. Im using an indian springs hopper at the moment, but it seems to big for me, and doesnt feed correctly. Is there any hopper that seems to look/work the best for these? |

I am currently using an elbow, yes. id like to get it out of the mix though. Has anyone ever tried to warp feed a vm? I though about trying to mout a warp using the two front screws that attach the trigger guard. |

warping a VM... Now that would be beyond badass. Plus VM's have so much kick that a warp would work great on them, with their motion sensor an all. I say do it.

I have this image in my head of my mag, with a 9oz under barrel, 20oz on the back, and a warp on the left side like a box mag. I think it would be sweet. I am only worried that the warp may push past the "magic fingers" and lead to double feeds. |

| XYZZY | When VM's were around you could get a VL 200 9volt Revolution hopper. Those old Revvys are what always look "right" to me. I never had problems feeding with my 9volt Revvy with the kick a VM has, so a 12v Revvy would feed great. Also, a camo neoprene cover for the Revvy looks right too.

I'm going to be setting mine up with a q-loader, so I got a new block, a knurled aluminum feed tube, and a warp adapter, all from PTP a couple weeks ago. It would work for a warp, but it doesn't get me the angle I need for the q. I'll probably end up getting a piece of brass tubing bent so my profile isn't ridiculous, but it looks right for a warp. Edit: NICE FIND ON A NEW VM!!!

This Indian Springs hopper holds about 125 balls and, to my eyes, suits the gun best: ![]() Although, the Revvys do look good, too. For scenarios or big games, I usually use this Proto Primo hopper: ![]() It's gravity-fed, holds 200 balls, and features an internal shelf that's supposed to reduce pressure on balls waiting to enter the feed neck. It's advertised as feeding over eight balls per second and easily keeps up with the EXC's rate of fire. The shelf does make it a little more difficult to see how many shots you have left, though. |
