Roll Out's on the VM-68 with all-american and taso barrels

Sadly , I am now starting to get rollouts and inconsistent velocity on my VM-68 with my smart parts all american, and taso barrels using the following paint: Marbs, Beast, stryker and various etc.
Dont think the new paint is fitting any more.
Any advice on a home-brew barrel detent or any other options that have works for folks?
Thanks much!

Your fingers might appear to be intact, but be actually worn down slightly.

The new stuff is certainly smaller than the old, and depending on a number of factors, you may need to fab a set with longer tabs.

How much does the bolt deform them when it runs forward?

If not much, then either a new set, or a fabbed set will be in your future.

They are fairly simple to make, and you are in good company here!

Cheers,

M

That's a good point. On further inspection, looks like they ARE worn a little bit. didn't notice before. Thank you for helping me see the obvious
I'll cruise over to Palmers and pick one up, it looks like they might fab their own. If this doesn't work, ill see what i can build myself. thanks for the assistance!

Many people are also just cutting large o ring and clamping it in a proper position to catch the ball correctly.
