PM7 board for LED

I have an old LED I picked up earlier this year that has no battery or charger. I have been waiting on the Seventh Element board for angles to come out to solve my problem because it is to use a 9 volt battery. Now reading in an old thread here I see that a Virtue board for PM7s of rails can be used in the LED.
Is this a difficult modification or is it mostly plug and play? Does the Virtue board have 0V wiring attached, or do I need to solder that in?

Thank you

the pm7/rail boards work in the LCDs with very little mod.(you can even purchase a mount) YOu need to purchase a microswitch harness ($10) separately.

Not sure on LEDs, do they have the same solenoid connector as the lcd?

I don't know, I do know that they have different solenoids and different chargers, I just haven't got very far into my LED yet. If my new battery keeps giving me trouble charging in the LCD I may just replace them both though I like the idea of a screen so I was hoping to save that board.
Would I get the mount and harness from Virtue or from someone on the Angel forum?

Is it able to be modified to fit? Or is there another reasonably priced board that can be? I would like to get these guns up and running but funds are limited.

i dont believe the pm board has the correct voltages to operate the solenoid. There is also not the same amount of room inside the frame so im not even sure if it will fit in there. As far as a board, you shouldnt have to much trouble finding a stock board floating around. Other than that I dont think anything really exists. Some of the generic boards might work (like a chaos or something)

OK, I was looking to install a 9V board instead of purchasing a battery and charger. I was just thinking the board would be just slightly more money and would allow me to not have problems with rechargeable batteries any more. I have a charger and new battery for the LCD but the chargers are not interchangeable so the LED is the one needing the 9V conversion at the moment.

you will have a tough time fitting a 9v in that frame let alone a 9v and a board.
