I bet you can fix that the same way you fix dented barrel tips. You get a ball bearing and place it in the tip, then tap on it with a hammer until it comes back.

A pinball (1-1/16") would probably be just the right size for that body.

Well next time you see a carrier for the company used to ship, peen it out with a few swift blows to the carriers head. OR...chunk of wood and a hammer. Get it close then massage it some more with a wooden dowel close to the correct diameter until you can get a stainless barrel back in there to finesse it the rest of the way.

I should have added earlier that since he refunded the money, I shipped it back. A couple of minor things would be no huge deal, but that level of effort was going to be more than I wanted to put in. At least I didn't have to dispute it and draw the situation out any longer.

My friend did that to his and supposedly fixed it using a blow torch and a sacrificial dye stainless..
