Sear solenoid sticks in cold weather, E2

My cocker works great anywhere above +10 celsius, but any colder and it does not release the sear solenoid. Are there any tricks to making it more winter friendly? I have E2 1.06, full nexus kit.

tried taking the noid out and cleaning it with alcohol? Old oil or paint will cause that, ask a German that fought in Russia in the winter god knows how many died with the bolt stuck shut.

You can all ways do what he Red's did, add a little diesel to your oil so it doesn't thicken in cold weather.

Yes, we Finns know all about the dead russians

Should I run it completely dry? It was sticking even in hot weather earlier so I added a little oil.

you could try getting all the oil off and using powdered graphite as a lube, or any dry lube for that matter.

maybe its the inside of the noid thats gummed up. Do you have a Very thin wire brush? You could try removing the plunger and working it thru the hole.

Or maybe u just need to replace the noid.

I assume 1.06 has the "Sear On" setting in the menus? If so, you can try increasing it to see if it helps. It'll send current to the sear solenoid for a longer period of time which might help. Factory suggested setting is 4ms.
