i wanna put together a cocker that runs on 12is, unregulated. my front block is going to use a rock lpr. my question is does it matter what kind of three way and ram i use?

Interesting notion... I'm not sure how much efficiency is affected by ram design, but I don't think a smaller ram is necessarily better. I suspect that a ram with a smaller piston (and thus less surface area for the pressure to work on) requires a slightly higher pressure than one with a larger piston surface area. It's the old volume vs pressure argument, only on a really small scale, and the difference is probably nearly immeasurable. Fun idea, though.

Not sure about the physics involved, but I had my Cocker tuned to stop on paint, and I used an ANS Miniram. Conventional wisdom would dictate a larger ram being easier on paint, but in my case it seemed to the opposite.

When choosing a 3 way, make sure everyone in the relationship is secure enough to proceed. You can then plow or Ram away. Sorry buddy, I had to.
