Curious about autococker bodies

just for possible future reference, is it possible to switch the bodies from one 'cocker to another? As long as their years of production are compatible?

Other than a few exceptions (Karni, SR, etc) most all cocker bodies are interchangeable. Year of production doesn't even really matter, it's just model specific. There are some things to watch for (midblocked vs full body, eye holes vs not), but even those can be worked around and are just beyond bolt on.

Actually, I did forget a big part. Pre 2k vs 2k+. They do not have the same size banjo bolt that holds the front block on. So you need a pre 2k front block to use a pre 2k body, and same for 2k+. All the pneus fit in either front block.

yeah i knew about pre 2k and 2k+ stuff a little.

and i haven't gotten into minicockers that much so i don't think that'll be an issue. thanks guys!
