The madman rocket valves were said to work best at sub 150 psi, but were a nightmare to tune and not very rewarding. I can't confirm any of this, it's just what I've heard.

| Formerly DeTrevni Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Houston, Tejas | I'm not sure I follow. Yes, the LPC was an extension of the valve chamber, but that's what all LPC's are. The idea behind them is that it takes a larger volume of air at lower pressure to propel a paintball to field velocities, unless I've got it wrong. That's what I meant by "reserve." Poor word choice on my part, but it's just the air sitting in front of the valve at a regulated 125 psi, waiting to be used. I don't know what "the bottom and to the left" would be.

I could not get my rocket valve down that low. Maybe 250-275 psi? Below that it would leak. However my Tornado valve seals down to 200 at least I think? I will have to get around to double checking that. Busy with a newborn! The rocket tuning is a bit odd and time consuming with the filing and all, but not terrible.
