I have a picture in my shop with Budd Orr and the former owner (of my shop) at Buds shop holding the first Autococker that Budd assembled. The former owner was the first PTI instructor and general manager of the APL. He was at Buds shop training for cockers. I was privileged enough to have Bud send me one of the first proto type bodies for the original STO(signed by him) and also a proto type for the 2K cockers before they came out. I will see if I can find the pic and get it scanned to post.

I just picked up these two tonight.....

They are all original, except one is missing the shroud. The serial numbers are 30902, and 30905. The seller said he had bought them new in 1996. One of them has a cracked neck on the ram. Probably due to poor packing, since they were sent loose in the box.

From the looks of the internals, they haven't seen much use. The hammer lugs are hardly worn, and the sears are the same. All the screws look like they've never been removed. They had been sitting in storage for some time.

These two take Sheridan springs instead of Nelson, and the IVGs are made of aluminum, instead of steel. They both have the springs around the LP hoses.

The plan is to rebuild the pneumatics, replace all orings/hoses, and leave them original.

I've got one of those first gen regulators in my junk box. Needs cleaned up badly. You just need a pic for museum or do you need one for a restoration. If someone does, let me know. Its yours for cost of shipping.

I was just in Kansas and found # 320. It was a full body not a mini. The owner told me that he even had the origianal square asa. I tried to get it off of him but it was a no go. At least without putting a grand or so in his hand.
