Mystery Hopper.

Anybody remember the name of this one? I think it came out around 88-90 or so. It was made of something similar to PVC yet thicker and more sturdy then a "Whaler" and loaders like that.

I believe Navarone was a sponsered team for the manufactorer.

Sorry my MSP skills really stink, but it looked something like this:

If I remember correctly it was cylindrical in shape & held maybe 70-80 rounds. The hardware on the right side of the picture represents a a collar that surrounded the body of the hopper. To load, the user would turn the collar to the top side of the hopper and there was a hole (shown with the dashes) where the paintballs went in.

If anybody has a name or picture I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!

One Armed bandit.... I believe. There is one at the Museum at EMR.

Repoman or Weltman has one of these.

"One Armed Bandit"...?

LOL! I kinda remember it having a sterotypical paintball name, but I couldn't have pulled that one out of my memory in a 100 years.

I think I used mine for a couple outings then gave it away.

Still, for the time I remember it being made of good quality components. I just didn't care for how it worked.

Thanks man!!

The company that made it is "B Cubed". They also made a "hip clip" which held two pods, which were sections of plastic pipe closed off on one end which would plug into the rotating loading cuff. Brassballs has a one arm bandit on his RTP Viper.

Nice find!

Thanks T222. I'd forgotten that pizza man took over as Capt. after Andy G. had left the team. I think one of the girls on the cover photo was a daughter of his.

Wow! Constant Pursuit. Another long gone California pro team.

The Viper IS the Rolls Royce of paintball guns.

Brass, weltman and myself run One-Arm bandits on our Vipers.

I believe it was either Evil Brother or Schmavis, who let me shoot a viper in the Hell Survivors chrono, I have to agree! Did they ever make SC vipers? I'm not too familiar with them.
That hopper is a great idea! It's amazing some of the things people have come up with.
