Was told this was a smartparts barrel, but don't think so. Stainless steel and Cocker thread.

Can't remember the name though.

Yes, it's an older SP barrel. Like Tom, I can't remember the name either. They offered them for a short time as well as a stainless version of the All American (like what Tesko has for sale). If I remember, the one like Tesko's was just a Stainless AA and the one like this one was called a "Stainless Beauty".

Here's a link to them on PBReview:

+1 for SmartParts. I think that was just sold as a stainless "one-piece" All American, as opposed to the standard All American two piece barrels. I may be wrong on the second point but I'm sure it is from SmartParts.

ANS barrels look the same except they have a muzzle break.

Yep I only saw it listed as smartparts stainless. That is how they marketed it.

I am looing at that barrel in a '97 SP catalog as I type.

It is listed as a " Smart Stainless "
12", one piece.

"Smart Stainless" and "Stainless Beauty" are how that barrel is listed in my old school SP catalogs.

Progressive's were only available in one piece aluminum.
