WTB VECTOR barrel!

I decided to keep my vector and would like some type of barrel that will allow the use of different sizes of paint, what is available? What can be made?

I currently have freak barrels for all my markers (except Brass) any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I never found a paint that was too large or too small to be shot accurately from a Vector.

That said, Carter has some spare barrels.

I have owned both a Punisher made Phantom-threaded adapter and a homemade Autococker adapter and neither one was worth the wasted Vector barrel, imho.

Maybe the new Valkyrie (I mean Hater) will solve your barrel desires.

Thanks, I would hate to destroy a vector barrel for no reason, I haven't actually played a game with a vector yet, and I would like it to be as useable as possible when I do use it.

maybe a center feed barrel would be nice....

I haven't been around enuff to be following the Val/Hater saga.

I have a ton of barrels.. Right feed, and a few center feed.

Just e-mail me, and I'll go into the parts section of my basement and see what exactly I have.

Hater!!

That is what happened to the Valk? Is it still going to be made? Wow, two years and still in pre-production. Any info on that gun? I was very ready to buy one once.

Every adapter that I have seen for using non Vector barrels on a Vector started out as a Vector barrel.

First, the front of the barrel is cut off, about an inch or two forward of the feedneck. Then, the bore of the Vector barrel is threaded to accept other types of barrels.

The next trick is to figure out a way to rig a front barrel mounting to whatever non-Vector barrel you want to use. If you do not have a front barrel mounting, then your barrel is going to waggle all over the place while shooting.

Punisher's adapter was very cleanly done. It used Phantom barrels and included a section of Vector barrel with the front mount attached that could be slid on to certain types of Phantom barrels. It worked fine, but in the end, I could find no improvement in performance.

The Autococker adapter that I had was not as good as Punisher's. It was threaded in such a way that the barrel could go in cockeyed. Also, there was no allowance for a front mounting.

But both used the back end of a real Vector barrel.

Come to think of it, I have also seen a barrel adapter that was made for the ModelA Vector that utilized an old Traacer body.

Good luck,

Maybe that would work for a Mod B - C.

Does anyone have a pic of a center feed barrel? does it interfere with the sight rail?

and I don't need a cosmetically perfect barrel. the PO decided polishing was the way to go, so I'm going to re-anno.

Yeah, I just sold it to Hellsgate---.

He is going to be the new Prince O' Vectors pretty soon.

And here is a pic of a Vector with a centerfeed barrel. Note the shortened sight rail. I have also seen it installed backwards for centerfeed use.
