The bolt pin is different than the Evo version, the Predator is a lot flatter. The stock reg/asa uses WGP reg internals in case you find one that needs some parts. They also don't have a pin to depress the tank pin; I think they were intended to be used with a remote line. So you'll need a tank on/off to use a standard tank with the reg/asa. CooperT had a pretty nice one that would be period correct. If you somehow fine 2 reg/asa, let me know! I'd love a second one for my minicocker. Best of luck, hope I wasn't just telling ya a bunch of stuff ya already know.

The bolt pin you described is exactly what I am needing, I've already had a few try and sell me an evo pin haha. I didnt know that the inline reg/asa didnt have the pin installed. hmmmm, do you happen to have any pics of the cooper T on/off you described? or better yet a link to one that might be up for sale?

here are some pics...

CooperT is the red on/off and has a push-button to control air. The black one is SP and makes a 1/4 turn to control air. I prefer the CooperT because it's always sealed better. The SP can leak a little even when it's turned off. I also included pics of the tanks to give you an idea of how long these things can get. The reg is already long in itself (I think they made a shorter version as well) One of the new tiny JT 9 oz tanks + the on/off makes it pretty comfortable. It can get way too long for me if I use the 12 oz + on/off pictured. A stubby 16oz tank works well too.

No pin to depress the...pin lol. You can see the reg adjustment screw too, so the tank has to be removed every time the reg needs to be adjusted.

I still think just taking a belsales pin from a supercharger bolt and turning off the outer section of the barrel past the line would be a near exact match.

Sweet, thanks for the pic's! Any idea on where I might be able to find one of the Cooper T's these days? I don't think I've ever seen one pop up in the forums, then again I have never looked....

I've got a guy that might have a pin for me over on CustomCockers but he wont know until later in the week. But if he doesn't have one then I probably will end up modifying a supercharger pin.

Differences in pins:

I can take measurements with a caliper if you decide to go that route. The two have slightly different knurling, and the bolts have the same knurling as their appropriate pin.
