Some minor tuning on this to get it shooting right. The old valve body was worn out and causing the pin to hang up and dump a carts worth of co2 all at once. Now its shooting great again.

I got this Hounstooth body fixed up with a new thread insert. These are super picky about the height of that insert for clearance.Comment

Yeah its a fine line between too tall and not enough threads. I did this probably 5 times total, I kept ripping the threads out of any that I cut too short. -
If the PMI takes 12 grams, you might still have to shave the thread insert down just a touch so it doesnt get in the way. If its CA tapped then no worries.

I'm trying to finalize the design. Which of these 3 do you like best? The one on the right takes more materials, so obviously costs more to make. The one in the middle is a stripped down version of the first. And the left one is the most compact.Comment

I'll cast a vote for the short one as well. In addition to being more compact, I like how the lever is to one side which clears it out of the sight picture.
On the whole though, very nice design and execution! It looks clean, easy to use and matches the existing gun well. I take it the thing just sits into the old feed cap's slot, or is there some modification one has to do to the gun?Comment

XL inserts, 45* right feed, and a detent for double feeds. Plus I still have to do some patina to hopefully make it look like I never even touched it. -

The gun is a flatback Kp3 that has been to palmers a couple times for mods.
This is the gun before. Unfortunately the large barrel and small paint had made it useless. It's sort of a unique piece that will be more unique after JeeperCreeper is done.
