yeah, they even said that is the reason they went to a shorter shank. the threads themselves are the same, just the shank and socket are different.

all in all, i think having a standard is more important then an 1/4 inch on the front of my gun, but those are my thoughts.

and frankly, all guns do come in cocker thread, except angels and smart parts. smart parts is dead, and angel is a ghost of what they were 10 years ago, basically if you buy a new gun today, its cocker threaded.
