Printed a duct for the enclosure I am building. Going to put a respirator cartridge inside of the enclosure with a blower to filter. Biggest thing I have printed so far, roughly 8"x6"x5".

Nice shape too.

The blower might need a little extra pressure for the cartridge. I'll be curious to see what you use.

Printing a set of 4 finials for the curtain rods in the living room. Jen helped to custom design them. Pictures when the first is complete.

Had a big 120x120 blower sitting around that is rated for ~41 mmH2O max static. I did some quick calcs for the pressure drop while I was drafting it and sized accordingly. O rings at the joints and a fairly thick shell should minimize leaks in the duct itself.

Seems to work well! Not a ton of flow, which is great to keep drafts minimized, but enough to visibly pull smoke from a match test. It is a little loud, but not an issue for me.

Nice. It will be interesting to see how long the cartridges last. Right now my plan is to move the printer under a window and build an outside duct. My neighbors might like the filter better. I'm not using anything terribly stinky at the moment, but Ty mentioned POM. I didn't know that was a thing. I like machining acetal, some more complex parts would be nice.

POM is difficult to print. It only sticks to paper :O And PostIt notes are the wrong "kind" of paper. We had to glue a sheet of copy paper to the Prusa's bed in order to get the part to stick.

Then there is the warping... It makes ABS look positively easy to print, by comparison.

When I was printing it, I was having issues with delamination of the part between the layers. Hopefully, later today, I will have pictures of the progress my boss made.

Yeah, I'm hoping someone else will figure it out first. I never try to glue/weld delrin in the first place; I was surprised that this filament is a thing. That Taulman 910 is interesting too, but I have a good amount of PLA projects to play with first.

My printer only gets brief rests. Nearly runs constantly.... Day and night. I am at work, but I checked my octoprint and I just finished printing a fore grip for my M17.... It will have a rest until about 6pm when I get home, remove it and start printing something else,

My first part. The front sight/feed cover for my cadet trainer BB gun. It has been a piece of milk jug for at least 35 years. That's an expensive sight.

The milk jug strip in a terrible pic.

The new part.

The cadet.
