Iíve never had any problems with lvl7 and different paints. If I did have a problem, just about everyone that day had a problem. Bad batch of paint, manufacturer rushed production, not stored properly etc.

Only if it is the older bolt that was made for a foamie. All of the more recent ones are "foamie-less", with cupped metal faces. There were at least three versions of Lvl 7 bolts from AGD. There's a good thread (or few) about them around here somewhere.

There was a specific bolt face to carry the AGD foamie. Don't bother trying to stuff a foamie on the front of a "foamie-less" bolt. They were known to be a little difficult to replace (and keep attached) on the original bolt in the first place. It would be too long also. For the same reason, if get a bolt that is made for a foamie, you should try to keep one on it. Otherwise, you end up in the same situation as the ANS bolt you started with.

Also, because an automag is a blow-forward valve, you really don't want to under-bore the barrel. If you study the level 10 springs and the velocity adjustments, you will see that the dump chamber pressure and ball velocity change with the resistance to the bolt travel. If you add the random size and orientation of rolling paintballs into the equation by requiring the bolt to stuff the ball into the barrel, the velocity will vary ball to ball much more than just the barrel fit.

*** Looks like the easy pics have died on photobucket ***

The automag has outlived at least a few image hosting sites. Not sure if that actually means anything...
