Pete @ Tiberius Arms has posted videos highlighting some of the maintenance processes, They're Must Views for All T8 / T9 Owners in my opinion! Links:

T8/T9 Bolt Push (Proper Gun Assembly)

Tiberius Arms Magazine (Standard T8 / T9 Magazine Maintenance)

Tiberius Arms Air Chamber
(T8 / T9 Air Chamber Maintenance- Advanced) Note the recommendation to use TechT Gun Sav to lube the bolt pin / fire chamber o-ring.

T8 Regulator (teardown and assembly)

T8 Breakdown (Breakdown and reassembly)

Tiberius Arms Conversion (First Strike kit install)

Enjoy!

thanks, UV, those videos were helpful.

It looks like I'm missing the hook spring that attaches to the 2nd hole of the linkage arm that connects the trigger to the sears and rotators. looking in the manual, it looks like there might be a design difference, where some guns have this spring and others have an actual trigger spring directly attached to the trigger. Is this correct?

For Reference: May 08 Manual

There were design changes between early and later model T8s. I know that the early model T8s did not have the "Trigger Torsion Spring" (#16 in the manual). This was spring was the "Clicky Trigger" upgrade that eventually became standard. In case it's not clear in the diagram, this scissor spring connects directly to the plastic trigger.

I believe (I can't confirm) that there were two hook like springs up by the sear, rotator area. I couldn't tell you what they connected to exactly.

The "Trigger Return" (Hook) spring (# 13 in the manual) that connects to the middle hole of the push rod /trigger arm is critical.

I'd call Tiberius Arms- they're extremely helpful.

You don't need that spring. SA8 should have the trigger torsion spring.

When you reassemble, put the bolt all the way forward, then put the frame on THEN put the spring and barrel in. If you put the barrel in first it'll just push the bolt back.

Also, check your sear system. The outer piece can slip out (left) and screw up the works
