Shocktech drops and direct mounting

Does anyone know if I can use direct-mount ASA's on the Shocktech 4 and 5 drops? Or are they rail only?

There should be standard mounting screw holes on those. One is used for a set screw to secure a rail mounted ASA, so that will have to be removed.

Also, anyone know the difference in length/drop between the #4 and #5 Shocktechs?

The #5 is pretty darn long.

The gun on the right has a #5 with a rather simple rail mount.

I have a #4 on my cocker. It's the same amount down, but an inch or so shorter. I used a basic duckbill bottom line on that to make it a bit less pronounced. No picture at the moment, sorry.

The #3 is one of my favorite lengths.

Not to big, still works with basic bottom lines as well.
