Yup that's normal. you want just enough pressure to seal it.

Not uncommon. Make sure that the three way shaft rod lock nut (in the lug) and the three way actuator lock nut are on opposite sides of the lug. If you oil it a bit and it bubbles, even when pressure is right for cycling you may need a new ring or have a bent three way shaft.

These were always the most helpful cocker tutorials I could find back in the day:Otter Customs Paintball - Autococker

The most overlooked issue with cocking problems is the cocking rod adjustment, and it sounds like that may be your issue.
Everytime I've exhausted the hammer lug adjustment and am starting to think I have a worn out sear, the solution is just simply a cocking rod adjustment (usually backing it out a turn or two).

That makes a lot of sense, backing the knob out allows more time for sear to rise up before the ram let's the cocking rod and hammer back forward. Thanks all

We host Ravi's Paintball Place here on MCB, and since he was so focused on the 'cocker, surprise surprise, he has an infosheet on troubleshooting (read that as: timing) 'cockers. Find it here. Back in the day, this is what I used to time all my 'cockers.

Perfect, thanks so much all. These are just the answers and resources I was looking for. Hopefully I get a day off this weekend to get everything tuned and timed perfectly.
