Standard or CCM Macroline fittings?

On a S6 prototype?

I can't get the ones that are on it to stop leaking to save my life and am just going to replace them.

Also anyone know where to get yellow macroline?

If you can find some of the magical Walz yellow macroline, your gun will be immediately transformed into a laser beam shooting miracle that can shoot a whole case on a single 12 gram.

There is an Oring on the inside of the fitting that gets cut from removing and installing the macro to clean stuff. Replace the Orings and you are G2G.

I went to CCM on my phantom that I run on 12g and they started to give me issues the end of this year. I'm going back to the hard line for CO2. But all my open class markers use the CCM fittings and they work great. I'm willing to bet the sealing Oring on the inside is nicked a bit.

If you remove the screw that the fitting swivels on and flip the fitting over, look inside the area the macro slides threw you will see the sealing Oring.

I removed and cleaned the orings. It then leaked unless I got the line "just right" so I replaced the orings. Still leaking unless I get it just right.

You try trimming the macro a bit or better yet replacing it?

You have to make sure the macro goes in far enough past the Oring so when its aired up the collar bites into the macro and holds it in far enough. Is the macro a lil short possibly or boogerd up at the ends?

I tried re-cutting the line trying for a better cut, I tried a longer piece of line.

It looks like the collar that holds it in is bent kinda funny. I probably could just replace that and be done with it if I really wanted to avoid getting new parts. But if I'm going to change to the CCM fittings and/or a yellow line (to match the grips) then this seems like the time to do it.

Bane shiwed me to trim the macroline with a pencil sharpener to get it perfectly smooth. Also I use the ccm ones

Have you tried hardline yet? 1/4" aluminum hardline has been holding up alright so far, about 6 months now. I've pretty much given up on macroline at this point. The fittings always seem to seal in the shop and leak on the field.

Woa

I was about to say maybe sandpaper the ends so they're flat but that's a good idea instead

I like the look of the CCM fittings, but original fittings are readily available.
