Barrel Thread ID

Bought off eBay a while back and told it was Autococker, it is not. Idiot me did not check. Any help is greatly appreciated. It is a Powerlyte Scepter if that helps or if anyone is interested in a barrel when itís identified.

I've got a barrel almost just like that. Not AC, not Spyder, not A5.

I hope Hobbes just solved my mystery too!

Edit: Doc's barrel thread guide says ICD is a 4-lead thread, but mine is definitely single.

I believe that is a Millennium stock barrel, if I am remembering correctly. Iíve only seen one since most of the ones I have had were sans barrel on arrival to me

Sometimes having a tape measure behind it helps. For people to understand how wide it is. And how long the section behind the threads are. It sucks when you can’t figure out what barrel thread you got stuck with. From personal experience I have given up on them and send them to someone that would know more for free after they purchase something from me hoping they would have better luck than me. years ago I sent an all American back to docs machine hoping if he didn’t know what it was he would at least make something out of it. That thread was very similar to this one. I was told ICD back then. Good luck

It looks very much like Spyder threading. If you have an old classic Spyder and a much newer one, sometimes Spyder threaded barrels do not work on both.

Virtually the only ones that regularly put an O-ring ahead of the threads like that, are Spyder barrels.

It's possible it could be an older, obscure one like Spartan or Brass eagle Cobra, but those are either unlikely or VERY unlikely. (I'm not sure even Smart Parts, back in the earliest days of barrel making, made one for the Cobra.)

Even money it's Spyder.

And boy, to I need to update that barrel page.

Doc.
