XP3, The Magfed KP3 Kit.

ADN Paintball's XP3

Uses a KP3 and turns it into a First Strike shooting magfed beast.

Available as a conversion kit and a fully built gun.

Magazine follower pushes up into the breech to jam the bolt to let you know when you are empty and need to swap mags.

Removable/optional top rails and mag extension.

Uses an 11/16 autococker Palmer LT brass valve instead of the stock KP3 valve. (Makes swapping things over easier when the valve is already installed.)

Uses tipx style mags, including the Tempest drum mag. (The drum will need to be modded with with a simple slot for the mag-catch to grab onto. 10 seconds with a dremel.)

Made in super small batches so they are pricey as hell to make, especially compared to the KP3 itself, but this is what it costs when you're a one man company doing it in your spare time. That said, this thing isn't meant to compete with other roundball pumps. It's meant to compete with the high end $800-$1.2K First Strike dedicated shooters.

So come check them out. The first 24 go on sale Monday.

Is this better/different than the X1P? Not quite following why there are two different models.

i don't have any reason to post this other than i was curious, too...

from the ADN site: the X1P is "A magfed autococker pump conversion kit"
it seems any autococker can be made into a magfed, firstrstrike beast.

X1P uses autococker trigger frames and SLICE pump and has the vasa integrated into the body. Has a different look, and has two ways to drop the mag. (Mag release on left side of magwell and right side near trigger.)

XP3 uses Azodin KP3 pump parts only. Doesn't have an integrated vasa into the body, is 'halfblocked', and only has one mag-release button.

Mostly differences in machining time between the two and the cost of the parts used. Otherwise pretty similar. I made this version to try and come up with a cheaper option as the X1P is expensive AF. I manged to drop it by about a 1/3rd. Not as low as I wanted but it's the best I can do at the moment.

This is a cool post. The only difference I can spot between the two is the length of the top tube and the pump guide rod attachments. Options are always cool to have. Looking forward to the next version. Want to see switchable feeds between stock class and mag feed. also want to see AC pneumatics on the front making one semi.

The AC pneumatic version is on the way. That is the X1A. No plans for anything stock class at the moment.

Can the Tempest mag be used in XP-1?

Yes, but due to the X1-P's VASA being incorporated into the body and being close to the magwell you will need to use a small thin reg. The best ones I found that fit are the CP regs. For the XP3 I moved the VASA back the hair needed so most regs can be used with the drum, but the X1P needs a small reg for it to work.

And in both cases you do need to dremel a little notch for the magwell button to grip onto, into the side of the tempest drummag.

Cool, not a big deal. I plan on running a smg 17 at scenarios so I had to ask.
